Our louder-than-loud project hit the ground running with a mighty opening gig at Backline Studios, Guildford.  Great acts such as the unnamed house band featuring our illustrious Managing Director on vocals and a familiar Sales Director on drums, as well as Backline favourites Orange Room and RGS veterans Frederick the Wise provided an amazing atmosphere alongside headliners Five Found Freedom,

Henry Stanley and Tim Campion-Smith attended the
El Paseo trade fair, along with Nick Stylianou.
 
Our dynamic and innovative stand featured all of our current products, a musical display with a guitar and amp rig, and a promotional mood lamp.
 
Photos were taken, handshakes were exchanged, produce was sold.  The judges visited our stand in turn, interrogating us about our company and products,

Our second public Christmas Fair, and our first attended by other Surrey Young Enterprise Companies, we had a whale of a time selling our wares.  We sold out of our fashion bags in minutes.

Our first public fair was at the George Abbot Christmas Crafts Fair, where we sold Kibera cards and our range of bags.
 
Customers loved our jute recycling bag along with its Guildford logo and the lovely public also admired our natural fashion bags!

Based on the popular BBC TV programme, we entered the Young Enterprise version of the competition at the Guildhall with a pitch for an extension to our green initiative.
 
A dynamic and dramatic pitch by Nick Stylianou and Tim Campion-Smith proved a force to be reckoned with - the Managing and Sales Directors won the top (and only) prize of £100.

Our inaugural disco!
With all the ingredients thoroughly mixed - a rocking DJ, a projector light show and glow sticks on sale - the disco was a great success.

We made a fantastic presence at the RGS Open Day, selling Kibera cards and preparing to launch our new projects.  It was also great training for the Young Enterprise Trade Fair - coming up later this year!

We won the bid for a disco to be held at the RGS Great Hall on Friday 20th October 2006.  Be sure to contact the team for an order form - tickets are running out, with girls from Tormead and Guildford High School snapping them up!

The launch of our car-washing scheme at Bradstone Brook proved an instant hit, and we shall be returning every Saturday to wash your car for £5! (Unless it’s a people carrier, in which case you’ll be paying £7....sorry.)
