@ The Guildford Eco-House

The Function Directors headed down to St. Mary's Terrace for a guided tour of the Guildford Eco-House to promote their range of green products.  As well as placing information about their products inside the house, the company were given a tour of the house and introduced to the wide array of eco-friendly products on the market as well as simple, practical initiatives which can not only help to save the environment, but also save people money as they reduce the amount of energy they use.

Some very practical examples to note were the energy saving light bulbs, the compost bin, the bicycle which is charged by the process of cycling and a flush which moderates the volume of water used.

During the tour, Nick Stylianou and Tim Campion-Smith were interviewed by BBC Southern Counties Radio for their 'Waste-Week' series of programmes. You can listen to the interview here.

The visit was a great success, giving all members of thinkus an insight into what they can do to thinkgreen.

Thanks go to John Bannister (Chairman, Guildford Environmental Forum) and James Little (Natural Discovery), who made the trip possible.
